Drag the left edge of the transition toward the center of the transition until its left half is removed.

When you examine the edit, you’ll see that a deceleration transition is still present, but it does not occur until the point at which you speed-bladed the clip.

Vary the duration of the speed transition’s right half to alter the deceleration and observe how it impacts the dramatic relationship between image and music. Is the abrupt drop from jet speed to walking speed a good thing?

After reviewing an edit, if you decide that you speed-bladed at the wrong frame, you can still adjust where the transition occurs relative to the content.
